A Letter of Thanks |
| Below is a letter from Academy Prep Alumna Christa Lambert to Ben Fisher, Executive Director of the Academy Prep Foundation. Christa graduated from Academy Prep Center of St. Petersburg in 2005, and then attended St. Andrew's School in Delaware. Christa recently represented Academy Prep as a student participant at the Nativity Miguel National Network's inaugural "Collegiate Prep Academy" outside of Denver, Colorado. Christa has been accepted to Howard University in Washington D.C. beginning this fall. |
As I make this transition from high school into college, I just thought I should let you know how appreciative I am towards you and the entire Academy Prep family. I would like to thank you for always extending a warm smile and hug to me every time I come back and visit Academy Prep.
Thank you for also making it possible for a place like Academy Prep to be involved in my life as well as the life of many others in St. Petersburg and now the Tampa community. I really do feel like the school has helped mold me into who I am today. I still have a place in my heart for all the teachers who taught me during my four years at Academy Prep, and I also have a special place for staff members like you who made it possible.

Academy
Prep is a privately-funded middle school program for students
who qualify for need-based scholarships.
All students attend Academy Prep — up to 11 hours a day,
6 days a week, 11 months a year — on full scholarships
provided
by individuals, businesses, and foundations in the local community.
