When School is out, AquaCamps are In! |

Are you looking for an exciting adventure on days off during the year? Lets us provide an enriching camp experience. Each camp includes animal encounters, hikes through the Aquarium, crafts, science experiments and time at Explore A Shore (weather permitting). Camp is designed for children in grades K-5. Each AquaCamp day is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Morning and afternoon care is FREE with early drop-off starting at 8:00 am and late pick up until 5:30 p.m. Lunch is available, please call for price. November 22
Swim with the Manatees: $100 member, $133 non-member. We will meet early to go to Crystal River to snorkel with the manatees in their natural habitat. Bring your mask, snorkel and fins to see up close these magnificent animals. We will board a boat and travel down the springs of Crystal River in search of the manatee. Must be 6 or older to participate, know how to swim and feel comfortable in water.

Submerged Cultural Resources in Tampa Bay

The Florida Aquarium's conservation programs have undertaken a new adventure: searching for underwater archeological sites in Tampa Bay (e.g. Shipwrecks)! Billy Morris, the Aquarium's principal investigator in this study, has extensive underwater archeological experiences in Jamaica, Bermuda, France and along the United States' East coast.
Join us in celebrating our newest project, featured on the front page of the Tampa Tribune, and learn about the history under the surface of Tampa Bay.
