Support SunRail

The Tampa Bay Partnership fully supports the completion of the SunRail Project. Providing transit alternatives to move residents and visitors efficiently and effectively within and between regions is essential to our economy as well as to building connectivity within our state.

We view SunRail as the start of a statewide transit system and the catalyst that will accelerate our transit plans in Tampa Bay.  SB 1212 will provide liability coverage that will extend to future projects in our state and will allow Tampa Bay to explore the possibility of utilizing freight lines for passenger movement.  The ability to use these freight lines for transit will accelerate our plans and cut our costs considerably.

We need your help!  We need to make sure the Florida State Senate understands the broad support for SunRail in Tampa Bay. Below are several ways you can help with these efforts:
