| Two New Employment Titles |
 | | |
 |
| One of the strongest subject areas of the Law Library’s collection is the labor and employment section. In addition to the general loose-leaf services from the three major publishers, Thomson/West, Commerce Clearing House, and Bureau of National Affairs, it includes specialty services and reports of decisions on employment discrimination, labor arbitration, and pension and employee benefits. The labor section also includes practice materials on a range of topics: wages and hours, hiring and firing, ERISA, employee handbooks, and personnel management, as well as titles covering specific labor laws.
Employment
Evidence (click

Representing ADA
Plaintiffs, by Beth Sufian and James Passamano, are the two most recent additions to the labor section. The first focuses on techniques for admitting and excluding evidence in employment cases, both in court and before administrative officers. Representing ADA Plaintiffs addresses pleading, discovery, jury instructions, damages, and settlement issues unique to ADA cases. Both are very practical titles, containing sample forms, tactics, and strategies. Both titles are from James Publishing, just published this year. We hope you find them useful additions to the collection.
