Boys Varsity Basketball Goes To Region Finals
The CCHS Varsity Basketball team plays the Community School of Naples for the Regional Championship on Saturday, Feb 23 @ 7 pm. If you have purchased tickets for the Fan bus, it will leave CCHS at 3:00 pm. If you are driving, the address is 13275 Livingston Road, Naples. Admission to the game is $7 per person. Come and cheer for the Warriors!

Track Meet Volunteers Still Needed
Booster President, Rick Watson wants to thank those that have volunteered to work at the CCHS Annual Track meet on Saturday, March 1. Additional help is needed, however. The following time slots are available: 7:30-10:30; 10:00-1:00; and 12:30-3:30. You can reach Rick at 727 251 8852 or by email.

Scrap Book Reminder
Ladies, we all say if we just had more time we could scrapbook more - and now you have it! A WHOLE EXTRA DAY - February 29th!!!!!! Yes, it is Leap Year and we have an extra day - so come and spend a few hours of that extra 24 hours and scrapbook together! Here's is your chance to work on those books for graduation and other special events. February 29th, 6:00-9:30 (Cafeteria A). Plan to bring a snack to share and all those photos you want to scrap! There will be some door prizes too- for answers to questions and to help us get a head-count, you can call Kim Fleming at (727) 321-3825

Congratulations Doctor Cathey
On Valentine’s Day (and also his birthday) Mr. Cathey received notice that all requirements have been completed for his Doctorate! So, officially our “Mr.” Cathey is now “Dr.” Cathey! His degree is from Nova University, an Educational Doctorate (EdD). To celebrate, we are going to have a reception at lunch on Monday, March 3. Parents are welcome to come and offer their congratulations (lunch is 11:17-11:51). Knowing this event was going to take place, the Faculty gave Dr. Cathey a new desk-plate for his birthday.

Mom's In Touch TIME CHANGE
Mom's In Touch - A prayer group to pray for CCHS, is changing the dates/times and locations of thier meetings in order to make it more convenient for parents to attend. The CCHS MIT group will now meet on Wednesday afternoons from 2-2:30 pm Feb.27th, March 12th, April 2nd, 16th and 30th. CCHS Track Meet
CCHS is hosting the Calvary Christian High School Annual Invitational Track Meet on Saturday, March 1, 2008. The meet is held at Clearwater High School with over 25 teams from the Tampa Bay area participating. There will be over 1000 people in attendance.
This meet provides great advertizing opportunities. There are two packages for your consideration:

Thank You Italian Dinner Atendees!
The senior Italian Night fundraiser was a huge success! We had more than 300 guests attend and over 100 items to auction. No one went hungry with the delicious food from Carrabba’s, scrumptious desserts and gourmet coffee. The atmosphere was enhanced by a live pianist (none other than our very own Bernie Blankenship) and a live harpist, Victoria Garcia! The senior students did a wonderful job ensuring all of our guests were well taken care of. Best of all, the net proceeds from the evening will help support our seniors as they embark on their senior trip and mission trips. Thank you to all who supported this event!

Prospective Students and Parents are invited to attend our Open House on Thursday, February 28 @ 7 pm. Open House includes and information about our school, a tour and question/answer time. If you are unavailable for the Open House, tours are available by appointment.
