Do you need some Christmas gift ideas?  Why not get the gift that gives back to you?  Order some SCRIP gift cards for friends and family and build up your child’s trip fund at the same time. The last 2 dates to order SCRIP this year are Monday Dec 1 and Monday Dec 8.  Orders must be placed by 2:30 pm to be included in that week's order. On Wednesday, December 3, senior students will be registering for Bright Futures here at school. To expedite the process, they should bring with them their social security number.

They will also have the opportunity to register with the NCAA Clearing House if they have any interest at all in playing sports at the college level. Students registering with NCAA will need a credit card to pay the $60 registration fee. If you have determined that you are NOT going to participate in athletics at the college level, you will be asked to sign a statement to that effect on the day that seniors register.

Note: If a student does not register with NCAA Clearing House, and later decides to participate in athletics in college, it could interfere with the timing and/or eligibility.

Seniors on the Marine Biology field trip that day will do the registration on Thursday during class.

NHS is sponsoring a gift drive for children at the Florida Baptist Children’s Home. They have set up the drive as a contest between mentor groups. NHS would particularly like to have students concentrate on bringing gifts for the teens in FBCH. For more information and gift ideas, see the attached info sheet.
