Blood Drive
CCHS is hosting Florida Blood Services Mobile Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 5. Parents and Friends of CCHS are encouraged to donate blood. The Blood Mobile will be here from 8 am - 3 pm. Students need to sign up in advance to donate blood, and bring an ID. To donate blood you must be in good health, be at least 16 years old, and weigh at least 110 pounds. If you are unable to donate during the school's drive, the Blood Mobile will also be at Calvary Baptist Church 5:30 - 8:30 pm.

Alumni News
CCHS grad, Mike Baskovich (Class of '08), made the golf team at Florida Atlantic University, and has been playing well as a freshman. The team recently finished 6th at the Nova Sourtheastern University Shark Invitational in Palm Beach Gardens. Last year the team finished 15th. Individually, Mike came in third and led the tournament in total pars. Mike's profile can be seen on the FAU website.

Italian Dinner and Auction
This year's Italian Dinner is on Monday, February 2 (mark your calendar and save the date)! The committee needs your help in procuring auction items for the silent auction that they are going to post online. Items are needed by November 15. The Online Auction will be held December 1-18; a great way to do Christmas shopping! Contact Jim Flammer jimflammer@aol.com or Karen Hackett khacket1@tampabay.rr.com if you have a donation, or questions about the auction. The dinner and auction help to offset the cost of the senior trip.

Open House

This is the time of year when seniors are applying to college. If you need a transcript sent to the school to which you are applying, please print a transcript request, complete it entirely, and give it to Mrs. Peabody. CCHS prepares up to six transcripts with no charge. Subsequent transcripts are $2 each.

It would be good for all students to start their Brag Sheet. This will help underclassmen when it comes time to start the college application process to be able to remember what they did in the early high school years.
