School Calendar
Wednesday, November 19 students will be meeting in their mentor groups during Chapel time. The theme of the discussion will be on Thanksgiving.

Fall Sports Awards
The CCHS Athletic Department would like to invite you to our Fall Sports Awards program. This year we are recognizing teams and individual athletes at the conclusion of each season. The Fall Sports Awards will recognize Bowling, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Swimming, and Volleyball. The assembly will be in the Worship Center beginning at 10:14 am Thursday, December 4.

Second Semester Classes
Thursday in English classes, students were given a form to fill out to make a request for their second semester classes. This form needs to be turned in no later than Wednesday, November 19. Students will be given their first choice whenever possible. Students wishing to take a Dual Enrollment class for the first time need to meet with Mrs. Sardone. There are additional forms in the office, and attached below.

Thomas Hooten Makes All County Football Team
Thomas has been invited to be on the Pinellas County All Star Football Team representing CCHS. It is an honor for Thomas and CCHS! The game is Thursday, December 18th at 7:00 p.m. at Clearwater High School. Congratulations, Thomas!

New Scholarships Added
New scholarship opportunities were added this week (Florida Realtors and National Co-op Scholarship Program). Both scholarships require essays and have February deadlines. CCHS posts scholarship opportunities on the CCHS website.

This is the time of year when seniors are applying to college. If you need a transcript sent to the school to which you are applying, please print a transcript request, complete it entirely, and give it to Mrs. Peabody. CCHS prepares up to six transcripts with no charge. Subsequent transcripts are $2 each.

It would be good for all students to start their Brag Sheet. This will help underclassmen when it comes time to start the college application process to be able to remember what they did in the early high school years.
