District Champs
The CCHS Golf team won the District title on Tuesday at Feather Sound Country Club. CCHS shot a combined 307 and won by two strokes. Last week they won the Bay Conference Championship. Members of the Golf team are: Aaron Watson, Taylor Hancock, Lee McCoy, Ryan Wood, Colby Bullock, Matt Brookins, and Karl Swaine. The team is coached by Mike Baskovich and Rick Watson. This is the second year in a row that the Warriors have brought home the District title. Pray for long drives and accurate putts as the Warriors head into regional competition next week.

Sports Senior Night
CCHS will observe SENIOR NIGHT for our fall sports teams. Seniors on our volleyball team will be recognized at the beginning of the match on Tuesday, October 21, 6:00 p.m. Seniors on our Bowling, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, and Swimming teams will be recognized at half-time of our football game on Friday, October 24, at Countryside Sports Complex. Please come to these games and show your appreciation and encouragement to the senior members of our fall sports teams.

Music Notes
Congratulations to Grace Dvornik for successfully passing preliminary auditions in sight reading and written test for the Florida All State Chorus. Vocal auditions are later in the month with the convention held in January. Congratulations Grace!
The CCHS PRAISE BAND has accepted an invitation to play for the Fall Festival in Clearwater, at North Bay Community Church on Saturday, November 15. We look forward to traveling to local middle schools for performances in the near future.
Those students interested in joining the CCHS Choral Ensemble, please attend rehearsals on Monday and/or Wednesday after school at 2:30.Several events are in the making and we look forward to lots of fun and outstanding performances!
The CCHS flute ensemble will continue to rehearse on Thursdays after school at 2:30.

This is the time of year when seniors are applying to college. If you need a transcript sent to the school to which you are applying, please print a transcript request, complete it entirely, and give it to Mrs. Peabody. CCHS prepares up to six transcripts with no charge. Subsequent transcripts are $2 each.

It would be good for all students to start their Brag Sheet. This will help underclassmen when it comes time to start the college application process to be able to remember what they did in the early high school years.
