I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angles of God. Luke 12:8 NIV
School Picnic - Yearbook Distribution

Each year the Student Government hosts a school-wide picnic to celebrate the completion of another school year. Traditionally at this picnic yearbooks are distributed, and this year is no exception! The SGA will provide condiments, meat, buns and paper goods. The Freshmen are asked to bring chips and snacks; Sophomores are to bring Salads or veggies; .and Juniors bring drinks (canned soda (12 oz) or bottled water). Seniors bring a smile. Our generous PTF is providing dessert. The picnic is Monday, May 12. We will be on activity schedule, will dismiss to go to Philippe Park at 11:30 for the school picnic. CCHS will shuttle non-drivers to the park.

They will share their advice about what they should have done, what worked and what didn't. Come learn from their successes...and perhaps their mistakes!  Ms. Billman will be available to answer questions and to help get you started on the right foot! Several CCHS Students Recognized!

Rohry O’Malley has been chosen to be a cast member for a TV movie/show to be aired on CTN(Christian Television Network). The filming of the program will commence in May and Rohry has been busy memorizing his lines.  The name of the program is ‘WALK on WATER’. The story line is a battle between believers and non-believers and how their faith affects how they get along or not.The program will be likely aired by the fall. If the pilot is successful, the program will be turned into a series and Rohry will be a part of that series. Rohry is pictured here in his debut "Life With Father" at the Francis Wilson Playhouse.  BREAK A LEG!

Tenth grader, Sarah Bilovesick has received three SUPERIOR ratings from recent solo vocal performances. Sarah participated in the Florida Vocal Association District and State Festivals and the ACSI choral festival. Sarah sang Italian Arias at each of the performances. She has been studying classical voice for three years. Sarah is a member of the Ruth Eckerd Hall teen choir and she recently accompanied the CCHS choir to New York where she sang with the choir at Carnegie Hall. Congratulations Sarah!

Juniors Rayn Cardew and Andrew Szarejko recently were notified that they are National Merit Scholars. They will learn if they advance in the scholarhsip program in September. Of the 1.4 million entrants, about 50,000 qualify for recognition. Two-thirds of those qualified receive Letters of Commendation; the remainder become Semifinalists, about 94% of whom go on to become Finalists. Good work Ryan and Andrew!
