Botany Plant Sale
Botany will have plants for sale on Monday, 5/19 after school in the car line area. Plants include herbs, houseplants, and outdoor ornamental plants. All proceeds will be used by the science department for future projects.

Kudos Veronica - In Coming Freshman!
Veronica Krueger, a student at Skycrest Christian School was accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum held in Washington, D.C., April 14-20. Veronica was able to earn high school credit while studying leadership and exploring some of the United States’ most prominent monuments and institutions. Forum delegates participated in small-group discussions and exercises to experience first-hand how successful leaders develop strategies, make decisions, build consensus, and foster change. Veronica was nominated and accepted for the honor based on scholastic merit, civic involvement, and leadership potential. We look forward to having Veronica at CCHS next year.

Baccalaureate and Graduation
You are cordially invited to attend Baccalaureate and Graduation services honoring the Class of 2008. Baccalaureate is at 7 pm on May 21 in the Worship Center, and Graduation is at 7 pm May 23, 2008, also in the Worship Center of Calvary Baptist Church.

Senior Athletes of the Year
Braden Dollar and Alex Markopoulos were named Senior Athletes of the year for 2007-08. This prestigious award is based on their participation in athletics during their tenure at CCHS Not only are they outstanding athletes, but they have good grades, possess leadership qualities, show heart, courage and determination, and above all show a good Christian testimony both on and off the field of play. Congratulations Braden and Alex!

Careeer Athletes
This year CCHS introduced a new athletic achievement award, the Career Achievement Award. This award goes to deserving seniors who have made significant contributions to the athletic department of Calvary Christian High School in their athletic careers. These achievements must be in the areas of school records set, along with recognition in The Bay Conference, All County teams, and district, regional, and state competition and championships. The minimum length of participation is three years within the Warrior athletic program. This is a very prestigious award, and will only be given to individuals who are certainly deserving of it based on their athletic accomplishments.
Three students were chosen for this award, Joe Cathey for his achievements in Cross Country and Track, Jose Crescimbeni for swimming, and Greg McClimans for golf and soccer.

Be A Baccalaureate Sponsor
Family and friends are invited to the CCHS Baccalaureate program on Wednesday, May 21 at 7 pm in the Worship Center. This special service honors our graduates and features several seniors as speakers and performers. There is a reception following the service in the Lobby sponsored by the PTF.
If you would like to sponsor a platter to help off-set the cost, please send in your donation to Mrs. Peabody in the office. Platter sponsorship is $20. Include with your donation, your name (and if you are donating in honor of a senior or alumni).
