  It was a mad crazy week here in NYC, given all the snow!  I did my best to put my 'snowed in' time to good use.  I set up the camera and went crazy.  It was big fun!  Not sure when the next video will be up and running, but there are more in the works.  Too much fun not to do it again!  Soooo ... Stay tuned!

Dear OLofWL (aka Janice) ~ I've not been able to make a connection between what I eat and my body.  Don't know why.  Maybe, it's been a form of denial enabling me to eat that which is unhealthy for me.  But now (inspired while participating in the 21 Day Cure), I am making this connection and digging my way out of denial.  I_Am_What_I_eat_Dps

I am visually oriented, so I decided to photograph everything I eat, and fill up my body with the images (see collage attached).  It is helping me make the connection!   Now that I can see it,  I get it!  I am what I eat.  Since Dec. 27, I have lost 17 pounds and I am about to go under 300 pounds for the first time in a long time.  I'm not giving up, I will make it!  ~ D.P.S., Chicago

Righteous Recipe
Last Tuesday was National Pancake Day! In celebration, I'd like to share my favorite 100 calorie pancake recipe with you, as well as a few tips on how to make the best pancake ever!!!

The 100 Calorie Pancake!

Ingredients:
1-1/4 Cups Flour (Whole Wheat preferable!!!)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Tablespoon Raw Sugar
1 Cup 2% Milk
1 egg; 2 egg whites
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions:
Preheat your skillet over a medium heat, and spray with cooking spray.
While it is heating, in medium sized bowl, mix together:
Flour, baking soda, and sugar! Put aside.

Beat together milk, eggs and the vanilla.
Then fold it into the dry ingredients.
